Stretch of the Kakariki by ~sootyalbatross
The New Zealand kakariki, or red-crowned parakeet. This one was seen at Zealandia, Karori Sanctuary. There are about 55 of these highly endangered species in the sanctuary. There were about five of these birds being attracted by food.
